I recently had the pleasure of having Chef Chris Pires run a cooking class at my home. It was fabulous. Prior to the class, Chris communicated with me about my cooking background and individually designed a class around my cooking goals. My focus was on learning to cook fish in different ways so Chris met me at the grocery store and showed me some tips on finding the freshest fish. During our class, I completed three diverse dishes. Chris would demonstrate techniques but most of the class was very hands on under his guidance.
Time went quickly and I learned a lot. Chris was not stuck on a script and was able to be flexible so he could handle the questions I had. It was a wonderful experience and I’m looking forward to the next one!
