Here’s a really simple recipe for hummus. There are some things you should always keep in your pantry, a can of Chick Peas, is one of them. Experiment with different brands till you find your favorite. This recipe calls for the beans to be pureed/mashed with other ingredients.

1 19 oz/540 ml can Chick Peas (standard size)
1 tblsp Tahini
3 cloves Garlic (more if you like, but certainly not less)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (as Jamie Olive would say – a couple of glugs)

Salt/Pepper/Cayenne/Smoked Paprika/Toasted Crushed Cumin
Lemon Juice
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
